T.ba a consciously crafted brand
T.ba is a family-based brand, traditionally very close to nature and the outdoors, This is always present in our collections and productions.
local production
All of our collections are locally produced in Spain (EU).
The design and manufacturing of our own patterns, including tweeds, linings, buttons and other components, are done locally in Spain.
Investing in the local economy also means reducing CO2 emissions of transport and shipments
However, we go far beyond the local, looking for something unique, one of a kind vintage embroideries, embellishments. We try to recover old technics and admire craftmanship and excellence which in our understanding are the essences of real luxury.
fabrics
We design and produce most of our fabrics locally.
Using mainly fabrics made of natural fibers (wool, silk, cotton) or developed with vegetable components such as fibers made of cellulose (Tencel coming from wood).
fur & faux fur
Over the last years, we increasingly use faux fur. When using natural fur, it is always recycled fur.
dyes
We are conscious of the environmentally damaging consequences of the synthetical dyes used in the textile and leather industries. At T.ba, we are constantly testing natural dyes for our fabrics, using vegetable dyed leather in our accessories.
Slow fashion
As a result of using the highest quality of yarns and fabrics, as well as the manufacturing process done by hand, most of our garments and items have a long-life expectancy if they are properly taken care of.
One of our favorite stories on sustainability is when we hear about a T.ba jacket or coat that passes from mother to daughter.
